Approach/Knowledge first

From the request to a concept you can build.

Threads, specs, and the way the work already runs become requirements, a solution concept, and a plan. Knowledge solving is the first step. Engineering follows.

Before the build

Most projects go wrong before the first commit.

The request shows up as a thread, a deck, and a spreadsheet. Someone has to turn it into a decision while the opportunity is still warm. We used to start at the build. Now, as AI experts rather than feature engineers, we solve the knowledge problem first.

Before the build / 014·Live

  1. Capture

    Customer context

Threads, specs, calls, and the systems already in place.

  2. Explore

    Requirements

Constraints, open questions, and what actually has to be true.

  3. Shape

    Solution concept

Viable approaches, and the tradeoffs between them.

  4. Build

    From what you know

A starting point the team can review, then ship.

The practice

From the first call to a concept you can approve.

The early work stays in one place, with the decisions behind the design. Select a step. The concept above shows what that step is solving.

Feasibility

The open question still blocks the architecture.

What changes

Fewer blank pages. More decisions made on purpose.

Move while it's warm

A credible concept while the conversation is still alive.

Room to explore

More than one way to build it.

We put the constraints, the tradeoffs, and the open feasibility questions on the table, so you can compare real options before anyone commits to an architecture.

02 / Tradeoffs

See what changes

Compare approaches across cost, risk, time, and how the work actually runs. One answer is not the point.

03 / Feasibility

Find the problem early

Pressure-test the concept against data, interfaces, and the steps a person still owns before anyone commits to an architecture.

What carries forward

What we learn, we keep using.

Years of architectures, integrations, and the calls that held up in production. That knowledge stays active, so the next concept does not start from scratch.
